Bobby’s Shows

The Red Tie Tour Its About Time – (basically my artist And CD Show)

Jackie Wilson, “The Legacy” starring Bobby Wilson

“Jackie Wilson the Legacy” is a show about a son continuing the musical tradition set forth by his father, Legendary Soul R&B Artist Jackie Wilson and a continuation of that style of Soul music that began in the year of 1959!

Imagine a hot summer night in Harlem New York, Theater, the music was new and no one could stop there body’s from swaying or feet from taping. A debonair young man in a sharp dressed shark skin tailored suit with diamond cuff links, slides to the mic stand and hit his first note of the newest hit song “Lonely Teardrops”, but wait, it’s not 1959 but today and the man isn’t Jackie Wilson, but his son Bobby Wilson. He follows up with the hits, That’s Why I Love You So, Reet Petite, To Be Loved, Baby Work Out etc… And 75 to 90 minutes later he caps the show with a finale with his dads hit “Your Love Is Lifting Me Higher”. Of course, during the show Bobby spouts out a few of his current hits like “I Get The Sweetest Feeling”,” Right Here Waiting”, and “I Can’t Love You Anymore”.

One has to pinch themselves because of the “IT” factor, this song and dance man apparently inherit from his Legendary Father. He has the moves, the swagger, and the audience in the palm of his hands as his movement through the years of music and beyond air lifts the event to “Higher and Higher”!

Not only is his father Motown Royalty but his father first cousin Levi Stubbs and Lawrence Patton of “
The Four Tops” all grew up in the same hood not to mention the penmanship of his songs by Berry
Gordy Jr and T. Carlo which happens to be a cousin too.

Bobby wasn’t handed this business with a silver spoon but instead he was doing a tribute to The R&B Hit
maker, long before he ever knew he was related. His career began in the US Navy, before a medical
discharge and singing in a karaoke bar when Peter Hernandez, father of Pop Star Bruno Mars, spotted
bobby and hired him to be on his “Lovenotes Doo Wop Show” in Waikiki. That’s when the bells and
whistles went off for BW and he was never the same again.

As of today, Bobby has landed on the 2014 and 2015 Ballot of the Grammys for 2 of the 4 singles
released to radio that all peaked #10 on the Adult Contemporary Charts, via his current CD Entitled
“It’s About Time”! He has toured the world on Cruise Ships, Theaters, Rockabilly Shows, Car Shows, Corp
Shows and private events and if that’s not enough, he is in the middle of his 2nd CD which is comprised
of original material and auto-bio-pic for book. A much-anticipated untitled work in progress while
preparing to promote his New CD for release early Spring 2018

This is a must have musical in your event, venue, festival or convention and will take your clientele to a
whole new world.

Biography: Bobby Brooks Wilson

Music Artist, Bobby Brooks Wilson, is the son of Legendary R&B/Soul Singer, Jackie Wilson. Bobby has the same amazing traits and talents of his father, that many say Jackie Wilson’s legacy lives on through him. His adoring fans have dubbed him as ‘Mr. Entertainment’ from his natural ability to entertain and bring crowds to life.

Bobby is a three-time Grammy Balloted Artist with his latest CD, “It’s About Time,” and four Top 10 hits that peaked #10 on the Adult Contemporary Charts.

Bobby’s musical journey began after leaving the US Navy and residing in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was invited to join the world-famous Doo Wop Group “The Love Notes” by Papa Mars (Peter Hernandez Sr.) and son, Little Bruno known as “The World’s Youngest Elvis Impersonator,” who is now Pop Star Bruno Mars.

While Bobby was emerging as a talented entertainer, he came across many opportunities to recreate the persona of Jackie Wilson because of his uncanny resemblance, voice, and moves that were almost identical to Jackie. It was during this time in his career he learned where his musical skills originated; he really was Jackie Wilson’s biological son!

Since that time, Bobby has emerged into a Global Entertainer with his own shows including: “Jackie Wilson, The Legacy Continues”, “Bobby Brooks Wilson, The Motown Years,” and his latest show “Bobby Brooks Wilson’s Red Tie Tour,” due to the success of his latest CD. Bobby has opened for his friend Bruno Mars, and now stars in Clubs, Theaters, Casinos, and Cruise Ships around the world.

His latest radio releases, “I Can’t Love You Anymore” and “I Get The Sweetest Feeling” are currently airing in the UK and soaring up the charts. Because of popular demand, has scheduled an upcoming tour in the UK. Another single is set to release in South Africa beginning June 1st. He is currently recording a new CD that will be released world-wide this fall with a special attachment which will disclose in the very near future.

Many watch with anticipation as Bobby Brooks Wilson’s success continues to soar through the “Grace of God”, he says as the singer, the entertainer and the artist!
